DESCRIPTION
Wooden puzzle from the "Tarot Cards" collection. We have created this collection for Tarot card fans to experience new experiences when they puzzle over the picture of their favourite Tarot card.

Card description: The Magician is one of the most iconic and powerful cards in the Major Arcana.

Appearance:
  • Figure: The card usually depicts a male figure standing behind a table. He often wears a red cloak or tunic, symbolizing energy, passion and action. He may wear a white cloak, which represents purity and wisdom.
  • The Magician usually stands with one hand pointing to the sky and the other to the ground. This gesture symbolises the phrase "As above, so below", referring to the relationship between the spiritual and material worlds.
  • Symbols on the table: On the table in front of the Magician are the four symbols of the Minor Arcana: the chalice, the sword, the wand and the pentacle. They represent the four elements (water, air, fire and earth) and the different spheres of life (emotions, intellect, creativity and the material side).
  • The symbol of infinity: The symbol of infinity (the lying eight) is often seen above the head of the Magus, representing eternal life and the infinite possibilities of the universe.
  • Snake belt: Sometimes the Magus wears a belt resembling a urobor, a snake that eats its own tail. This symbolises the cyclical nature of life and the universe.
Symbolism:
  • Skill : The magician symbolises skill, mastery and the ability to manifest desires through willpower and concentration. It is a symbol of the conscious mind's ability to shape reality.
  • Initiation: This card often marks the beginning of a new journey or endeavour, when the questioner has all the necessary tools to succeed.
  • Connection between worlds: The magician's gesture pointing to heaven and earth reflects his role as a link between the spiritual and material worlds, suggesting that true magic is the combination of these two aspects of existence.
Interpretation:

  • Upright: When the Magician appears in an upright position in a card reading, it usually means that the reader has the strength, resources and energy to pursue his or her goals. It is a card of action, creativity and confidence.
  • Inverted: When the Magician appears inverted, it may indicate deception, manipulation or abuse of power. It can also indicate a lack of concentration or an inability to follow through.
The Magician is a card of potential and promise, symbolising the moment when you realise your ability to create reality through concentrated intent and willpower.
